LINDI ORTEGA est une chanteuse, songwriteuse et musicienne canadienne, connue pour sa superbe voix décrite comme un savant mélange entre celles de DOLLY PARTON, JOHNNY CASH et EMMYLOU HARRIS. L'UR Chicago Magazine et Country Weeekly en ont d'ailleurs déjà fait les éloges, l'un la qualifiant de « pénétrante » tandis que l'autre déclarait qu'elle « ondule avec une splendeur absolue ». En 2009, son EP « The Drifter » rencontre un vif succès auprès de la critique. L'artiste possède également une expérience aguerrie de la scène : elle tourne fin 2010 et début 2011 aux Etats-Unis et en Europe avec BRANDON FLOWERS, le chanteur et meneur des KILLERS, notamment dans les festivals Coachella (USA), T in the Park (Ecosse) et Oxegen (Irelande). Aujourd'hui, LINDI ORTEGA présente enfin son album, « Little Red Boots ». Produit par RON LOPATA (JACKSOUL, JULLY BLACK, RON SEXSMITH), la voix saisissante de la chanteuse et sa touche d'alt country inimitable forment une pépite à côté de laquelle il serait criminel de passer.
